Commercial Real Estate Associate - New York, NY

Robinson+Cole’s dynamic and growing real estate practice seeks an attorney to join its New York City office. 

Robinson+Cole's real estate practice encompasses a spectrum of real estate transactional and related matters, representing a range of clients, including multinational corporations; institutional, public, and private lenders; retailers; state agencies; bonding authorities; schools; commercial and multifamily developers; health care institutions; hotel chains; and manufacturers.  Robinson+Cole also advises for-profit developers, nonprofit organizations, housing authorities, and redevelopment agencies on acquisition, development, management, and financing of affordable housing projects, and is a premier firm in representing lenders and other participants in complex affordable housing financing transactions.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience representing clients in real estate lending matters with an emphasis on representing lending institutions in connection with commercial real estate financing or affordable housing financing transactions. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and construction lending experience is a plus.  Candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.

Business Bankruptcy Associate - Wilmington, DE

Robinson+Cole LLP, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with one to three years of experience to join its Bankruptcy and Reorganizations Practice Group in its Wilmington, DE office.  The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the representation of Debtors, Creditors and Official and Unofficial Committees in business bankruptcy and restructuring matters;
  • Drafting and reviewing court filings, including but not limited to motions, memoranda, and complaints;
  • Conducting research and drafting related correspondence, memoranda, and briefs;
  • Attending to all matters related to discovery in contested matters as well as adversary proceedings. 
  • Participating at trial, including preparing witnesses and trial exhibits.

We are looking for a candidate with superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large firm or equivalent (e.g. clerkship) experience to join our team.  Experience with the Delaware Chancery Court though not required is beneficial.  Admission to the Delaware bar is required.

Labor & Employment Associate

Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks an attorney with at least two years of employment and/or labor law experience to join our Hartford, CT or Stamford, CT office.  Robinson+Cole offers a full array of employment law services to employers: counseling, litigation, immigration, benefits, labor relations, and training. We assist clients not only with addressing pressing legal concerns, but in proactively examining policies and practices to minimize future issues and increase compliance with the laws applicable to the employee-employer relationship.

Real Estate Attorney - Boston

Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 Firm, seeks an Attorney with at least two years experience to join its Real Estate and Development practice group in its Boston office.

Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate and Development practice regularly represents lenders, buyers, sellers and owners in commercial real estate transactions.  Representative clients include national and local lenders, developers, and owners of all classes of real estate assets.

Qualified candidates will have significant experience representing clients in real estate and finance transactional matters including commercial real estate lending, construction lending, loan participation, loan work outs, foreclosures, reviewing title and survey, condominium, commercial leasing, real estate acquisitions and dispositions.

The candidate must have substantial experience reviewing due diligence work related to zoning, survey and title issues with a special emphasis on title insurance and endorsements.  In addition to the ability to review and analyze complex real estate agreements, candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast paced work environment.

Intellectual Property Associate 

Robinson+Cole, an AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an associate with three to four years of trademark and copyright prosecution, dispute resolution, and litigation experience to join its Intellectual Property and Technology Law Practice Group in its New York, NY or Hartford, CT office.

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience on:

  • Trademark and copyright prosecution, counseling and enforcement matters including prosecuting, maintaining and enforcing trademark and copyright applications and registrations, counseling on brand management and copyright protection matters, assisting with resolution of ownership rights and disputes including TTAB proceedings and litigation related to same, advising on the establishment of trade secret programs, and counseling clients on packaging, labeling, promotional and advertising matters.

Candidates will be located in New York, NY or Hartford, CT.  Candidates should have: superior academic credentials; excellent writing and analytical skills; hard-working and a self-starter with excellent attention to detail; and 3 - 4 years of law firm experience.  Admission to the bar in the state of residence is required.

Litigation Associate

Robinson+Cole, an AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an associate with a minimum of two years of complex litigation experience to join its Managed Care and Employee Benefits litigation practice.

Robinson+Cole’s Managed Care and Employee Benefits team includes more than a dozen lawyers and our practice is nationwide.  We represent employers, health insurers, life and disability insurers, and other clients in commercial and claim litigation involving the operation and administration of benefit plans.  The preferred location for this position is Connecticut (Hartford or Stamford), but the position can reside in New York City for the right candidate.

We are looking for a candidate with superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience to join our team.  The successful candidate will be expected to assume substantial responsibility, including drafting of briefs on critical motions, management of discovery, depositions and court appearances.  Admission to the bar in which the attorney is resident is required.  Law review experience and/or judicial clerkship experience are a plus.  ERISA benefits litigation experience preferred, but not required.
