Ashley Keenan focuses her practice on all aspects of corporate and transactional law, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, tax equity, venture capital transactions, joint ventures, general corporate, contract matters, and finance transactions representing both borrowers and lenders. She also represents clients in connection with cross-border transactions with U.S. companies and establishment of U.S. subsidiary operations. She is a member of the firm’s Business Transactions Group.
Ashley is also a member of the firm’s Sustainability Group, and she assists clients in connection with renewable energy transactions. Prior to joining the firm, she held a variety of positions in the energy industry where she concentrated on wind and solar transactions.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Ashley assists public and private companies with corporate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, equity and debt financings, and other strategic transactions. She has helped several companies with their large-scale mergers and acquisitions. She recently assisted with representing a global information and media company in connection with a strategic acquisition.
General Corporate Services
Ashley’s practice involves providing advice on general corporate and business matters, including choice of entity, corporate governance, restructuring, contract negotiation, and licensing matters. She also works closely with business clients in connection with purchase agreements, charter documents, stockholder agreements and operating agreements.
Antitrust and Competition
Ashley counsels clients on competition law compliance, including the preparation of competition law premerger filings. She also coordinates the preparation of foreign competition law filings.
Ashley has a strong commitment to pro bono work. She represents immigrant children in deportation proceedings through the organization Kids In Need of Defense (KIND).
