The communications marketplace has undergone an historic transformation from
single to multiple providers of telecommunications services offering traditional
landline and wireless intrastate interexchange resale, private line, and access
services. Cable companies find themselves not only facing an uncertain
regulatory environment, but also having to meet the challenge posed by
telecommunications providers as each moves toward a more sophisticated,
intelligent, and integrated market for services. Water companies struggle to
maintain rate stability while confronting ever-increasing external cost
pressure, and regulatory and construction requirements.
Our Environmental + Utilities Group supports and is fully integrated with our Telecommunications practice. Our team regularly assists in permitting and siting communication towers and addressing governmental or community considerations ranging from wetlands to site lines.
